Since 2012 Naupaka Island Designs has been a progressive part of Hilo's beautiful Downtown Bayfront. Located in the Historic S. Hata Building built in 1912, we're a small, locally owned, kama'aina (child of the land), family business. You could say our style is a bit "old school". Naupaka's goal has always been to provide the signature quality of handmade designs, island style aloha wear enjoyed by locals & visitors alike.
Naupaka's clothing line is patterned & sewn right here in Hilo, with locally designed fabric, and an attention to detail that won't be found in a factory made piece. All our garments are made to order. Approximate average sewing time is 2-3 weeks, (men's aloha shirts, 8-10 weeks), depending on volume. Please contact us with any questions.
